Camcammy Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have just changed my blower resistor on my 59 plate fiesta as the blower wouldn't work on settings 1, 2 and 3. I was just wondering how hot is too hot for the resistor to be? I know they are supposed to get hot but there is a slight burning smell and it is very hot to touch. The resistor works and the problem is solved, I'm just worried about it getting too hot. I haven't screwed the resistor into it's housing yet as I wanted to check it wouldn't over heat first, but wonder if it would be okay in there? Any suggestions welcomed, cheers!
