Hi, I've been looking recently for a ford Capri, I've had no luck so I decided to come hear, now it's nots just any ford Capri I know the reg(GAT 980L) the reason I'm after this particular one is because my grandad bought the car brand new in 1973 and looking through his things the other day I found the invoice framed and a photo of my mum and sister in the car, I've tried going on DVLA the closet I can get to finding it is that it needed taxing in 1985 that's all I know, it was white but it's says it's orange not sure if that's true, if any one has any information or knows where I could look, it would be much appreciated.

    Have you contacted the Capri Mk1 Register, they may or may not know something about your Grandad's Capri

    No not as of yet and that's what I'm thinking it's probably scrapped :(
