There seems to be two looms running in front of the pollen filter cover

i can remove the cover with lots of messing about but the cable are tight and block any chance of removing the old filter 

anyone got this problem

    Hi,

    You do not seem to have said what car model it is.

    If Focus, the connectors to the heater fan resistor and the re-circ flap motor have to be removed to get access, are these the wires in the way?

    if its mk2 focus you have unscrew the footwell fuse box and pul it out of the way
