Possible split turbo or intercooler pipe

Featured Replies

I've got noises like air escaping in the engine bay but no lights on the dash telling me something is wrong ? Can anyone recommend any good mechanics in the Darlington area who can solve the problem ? Thanks, the car in question is a 2009 Ford Focus Tdci with 35,000 miles on the clock, was even contemplating a terraclean as it's a town only used car

hi mick i have same issue whistle noise on acceleration, checked most of pipes but cant see much, have you checked the rubber pipe just after coolant tank.

Had it up on the ramps at croxdale fast fit tonight as a friend works there but was no further forward, I had a split pipe on the car last year but this is a different noise, like you say it's a whistling kind of noise
