Boot interior light

Featured Replies

Hi

Only had the car a short time (Ford Fiesta 1.25 59 plate) so have been getting used to it. Just noticed today though that there seems to be a light in the boot. However this doesn't go on when my boot opens. So I've went and got a new bulb to see if that will do the trick but its still not going on. Wanted to check if anyone has the same car and the bulb goes on when the boot is open, before i start farting about with fuses.

Thanks in advance.

Craig

The boot light should come on when you open the door, it sounds like a fuse problem

I think it also comes on with your courtesy lights, so when you open any door it will illuminate, also when you unlock the car. When you open the boot do the other lights come on inside the car? If not and the boot light doesn't come on it's a fuse. Best way of checking is to remove the parcel shelf so you can see through the window
