Hey,

My gearbox is making a whining sound when I'm accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gear, getting up to about 25/30mph. I have a 64 plate KA and it's been back to Ford under warranty and the gearbox has been stripped and has had a bearing changed. I've had it back from them today and by the time I drove it off the forecourt it was still whining. I have no idea whether this is just a characteristic of the car as it wasn't doing it when I first got it or whether something has actually gone wrong? They're telling me it's normal but what sort of gearbox whines when the car has only done 12.5k miles?😐 someone please help!
