New build Mondeo - specification issues

Featured Replies

Hello, wonder if anybody has further knowledge

Looking at a new Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 180 Titanium [X Pack] 5dr with a few extras, built using ford configurator website. Options selected are 19” 'Y-Spoke' Alloy wheels, Bodystyling Kit, Rear Spoiler, Sports Suspension, Frozen White paint.

Two lease companies have quoted allegedy including ALL of the above options and a third has come back saying the "Mondeo Body Styling Kit" is no longer an option.

I tried to contact Ford to check, they wanted full name, address postcode, nearest dealer, a pint of blood, etc just to answer if that is correct. My own dealer cannot confirm this information.

Can anybody on here substantiate please, have Ford discontinued the body styling kit on new-build Mondeos, if so why, and why is it still selectable via their configuration tool.

Thanks in advance for comments, observations, info!

Rachael
