Featured Replies

Hi

Ive already done one post on this but I still can't change the bulb. I have a Fiesta MK7 and need to change what dipped beam bulb. When I remove he rubber cap I'll add the photos below, I don't know what to do. Can someone please very clearly tell me what I need to do, I have tried twisting and pulling but I don't want to break it! Any help is appreciated thanks in advance! Sorry if I'm being stupid... all other guides look very different to mine... :(

If you pull the black plastic connector off, you may be able to feel the springy metal clips holding the bulb in. One of these (i believe) is shown in the bottom picture, at about 4 o clock (near to the metal stake).

Spot on @micro although I would say it's more the 5 o'clock position [emoji6] amd one at 9 o'clock position too, you need to pull that metal tab AWAY from the centre of the bulb and then the bulb should pop right out. If not, with the tab pulled outwards gently rock the bulb left to right, up and down while pulling the whole bulb out.
