I put a set on my previous car (Mk2 Focus) in June 2012 and followed the instructions which said to use soapy water, this allowed for some jiggling around before they stuck permanently. They stuck like the proverbial to a blanket and hadn't moved a millimetre from then until I part-exed it in April 2015. I used Lockwood ones and wholly recommend them.
