Hi everyone , very new to the forum , looking to see if anyone has had similar experience with their Smax. Last week engine light came on and today I took it to my mechanic , he hooked up the laptop and it gave the error code C284 'Unknown error' on laptop. He cleared it and suggested may just have been some type of glitch as fault codes usually start with a 'P' .I went home and googled this and suprisingly very little information online regarding this , almost seems non existant. But again after driving to the shop the engine light came on , just looking to see if anyone else here has seen this . The car is driving as normal , i believe my local ford garage charge approx £50 for a computer scan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
