Cheap exhaust modification?

Featured Replies

Anyone know a relativity cheap way to make my exhaust sound better?

My cars financed so probably need to keep the stock stuff for when handing back.

i hear a new filter K&N panel filter replaces the paper one, apparently it gives off a better sound, i will be doing this next month

Already have that, doesn't really make that much of a difference to be honest.

You could try removing the resonator middle box if it has one on your car and put a straight resonator delete pipe in (not the cat the box after that). But if you have an OEM exhaust it may be one piece you may have to cut it to do it, and as you said you may not be able to do that. If you can that will make it a bit louder. You could do a cat back but that is not cheep.

i can second this ill be doing it in a few months cobra sport cat back £440 is the one im going with. thank god for 12 month payments of £25

Yes that would be good my very first mod on mine was a Cobra 3" cat back a bit later I added a 200cell cat and the down pipe. I liked the sound of the Cobra system ( still do)and I think you wont be disappointed with the build quality too.
