Am I unlucky or am I unlucky? That is the question!

Hi there good people,

How is your experience when and after washing your car?

I think I am jinxed.

8 out of 10 times after I wash my car it ***** rains!

Well, you might say, it happens suck it up of course it rains. Only thing is that I live in SE of Spain were we are getting 300+ days of sunshine each year.

You might say, it's just water mate stop moaning. Well.... 9 out of 10 times it is muddy rain because the currents bring sand from the Sahara desert and it's horrible as you will see.

it happened to me this Wednesday 22/02/2017. After about 3.5 hours of hard work-soaking the car, rinse, decontamination with Farecla shampoo, rinse, cleaning with a decontamination glove (I am to scared to use clay bar), rinse, dry the car with a towel, a bit of polish with carnauba, applying  quick detailer with some more carnauba, cleaning the glass, hoovering, cleaning the dust and a  bit of plastic stuff with UV protector and than later on some rims sealant- I was all done. Took the car to a place to take some photos, went home, and than the next morning......RAIN.

And that's almost alllll the time. Maybe when I wash the car I am doing some sort of an ancient rain dance? Maybe because I did so much work I am to blame for storm Doris? Hope not!

Update: Overnight I keep the car in a garage so I do get a bit of protection.

Here's some before and after and a photo of my previous car.

P.S. I have an updated photo album with my mk3.5, maybe you will like some photos, enjoy:DSC_4082.JPGIMG-20170223-WA0003.jpgIMG-20170223-WA0004.jpgIMG_20150321_174507.jpg

Bird droppings are another story.... I do get them from time to time, but not that often. The Focus didn't had one on it yet.... but most of the times I get a target practice run and it's full of it. I tend not to park it under trees.

i cleaned mine on Friday ready for my most recent mod come saturday morning we had showers through the night, now shes all dirty again, especially after this mornings shower.

I only ever wash mine when it is raining.

Except when we have a blazing hot spell in the middle of summer.

I did live in the UK for more than 10 years and worked as a roofer so I know what rains is, but at least you don't get muddy rain over there ;).
