Tow weight on 1.5 mondeo estate

Hi I noticed the other day that someone was questioning the tow weight on the new mondeo 1.5 eco diesel. I'm really sorry to say but the tow weight is 400kg this is not a typo. This car couldn't pull you out of bed. I have found this out the hard way and to much expense my 4 month old car has to go back. I did question the dealer at point of purchase to be told it's fine it can tow 1500kg more than enough for my van. It has since been checked and I am sorry to say 400kg it the max it can tow. Not even enough for a small trailer in fact the boot can hold more weight than the car can tow. Please be careful when purchasing your car and check the weights.
