Smax Rear Hatch bulbs blown, Parking Sensors Not working

IN the last few weeks I have had all bulbs on the the rear hatch blow, The Centre break Light and the Licence plate bulbs all in the space of a day or two, now the Parking Sensors at the rear are coming up with an intermittent fault, every now and again I will get the tone and flashing light on the dash button telling me they are not working..  Any suggestions, are they all linked through the wiring plumb that runs into the hatch door? I have a feeling it has something to do with the screen wash as this was filled recently and the problem started there after!!!!  Could be just a coincidence?
