Remapping st150

Featured Replies

I was wondering if I remap my st150 they claim it can get 12bhp and 15nm, will I feel difference or will I not notice anything and its waste of money have cold induction from mountune as mod.

I doubt you'll feel the difference.

More feel will be felt from any torque limits changes or changes to the torque curve.

Waste of time and money trying to remap a NA engine imo.

Then I wont bother if it useless

I have the same engine in my Focus and had it remapped. Throttle response was improved but not enough to justify the resultant increase in insurance! If you've not had a Terraclean then do that - along with fitting the Eibach springs it was the best thing I've done to the car.

Terraclean cleans the carbon deposits out of the engine. I had it done two years ago and it made the engine much smoother, more comfortable at low revs and improved fuel consumption.

It cost me £108. Quite a few garages do it and there are also mobile operators who will come and do it at your property.

Several forum users have had it done with very positive feedback - check out this topic.

More info is on the Terraclean website.
