DisgruntledPenguin
Nearly 3 weeks ago, our CMAX broke down. Registered April 2013, we've had it less than 3 years, 40,000 miles on the clock. We've been told (after THE worst customer services we've ever experienced from a Ford dealership) in wishy washy terms, that a coolant leak has resulted in the car needing a new engine costing £4,700. We have been offered a 'goodwill' payment which brings the cost down to £2,700, which 'isn't an admission of fault'. We are now in dispute with the Dealership, as they have said this isn't anything we have caused/wear and tear. Has anyone else had the same issue/tried to get the full cost covered by the Dealership? We have had a response from the Regional Director which basically says no and we are now looking at going down the mediation route, then Motoring Ombudsman.
