Ford Money savings account

Featured Replies

Just been on the Ford website and see Ford are now doing savings accounts? Took me by surprise lol.

Ford Money

Might have a look what interest I'm currently getting on my own.

What's next Ford opening supermarkets? Or petrol stations?

Though must admit the rates look fantastic, far better than what my bank (HSBC) are offering. Might be tempted to actually switch. They have a banking licence and are regulated by the FSCS, so it's pretty much a safe bet.

Yep...I'll have 4 pints of semi-skimmed, a loaf of bread and err...yeah, I'll take the Focus right there - no, not that one - the one next to the Fiesta...aye, that one!

Edit: nevermind!

Makes sense really. They can lend other people's money out instead of their own.

That's a good point actually about lending others money. I imagine Ford credit is a lot for them to pay out, so makes sense

  • 2 weeks later...

I got an email from them earlier saying they raised their savings interest rates. Checking their site, it seems it increased from 0.85% to 1.00%.

Has anyone else opened an account with them yet?

Any experiences?

I thinking of opening one, my current Nationwide account (loyalty saver) has just gone down to 0.75%. I think Ford are offering quite good rates at the moment.
