Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hi All, I have been looking at a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost on Autotrader, 63 plate at Ace Car Sales, Bury. Lancs.

It's on at £4795 with 109k miles. Always had Focus's before but was thinking of this one. Is there anything I should

be looking closely at? Obviously the mileage is an item but the dealer reckons 150k miles before a belt change? The

mileage has been mostly motorway and there is a good service history. I only do about 7000 a year, so if I keep it a while

that may help. Any comments greatly appreciated. Cheers.

bear in mind when you do get to 150k then the timing belt will need changing and it will be VERY expensive to do.

around 8 hrs labour and probably ford dealer, as independant garage probably wont be investing in the timing tools just yet.
