I have been having trouble with the menu on my convers+ stuck on trip computer and settings. The sony entertainment system playing up, clock and date info memory not saving but radio and CD position presets are and not recognising when ignition is on. 

 

I had the car plugged in to read the on board diagnostics on Friday morning at a local garage and there were many error codes however none that related to convers+ or the entertainment system nor any relating to why the airbag light comes on sometimes too! 

However even tho there was many codes, they were all relating to one thing:

LOSS OF COMMUNICATION FROM BODY CONTROL MODULE

 

The vehicle is a Ford Mondeo 2.0tdci titanium 2008. 

 

I really need some help with this it has been tearing my hair out for weeks. 

The finance company has fitted a pass-time tracking device, it is behind the dash in a position that looks like it's half way between the socket where you would plug in obd plug and the instrument cluster itself. Surely this isn't interfering with the signals to and from the body control module and therefore causing my loss of menus and entertainment?

Any more ideas??
