Ok guys any Help with this would be great got a code B1029

 signal amplitude too low I have changed the throttle pedal nothing I have give her a full service egr clean the lot and still nothing it's a ford mondeo 1.8tdci 2009 just need to no were to start 😦😦😦 driving me nuts

B codes are Body related, and are usually generated by the BCM (Body Control Module, aka GEM in some Fords).

I have seen the reference on the net to throttle pedal for this code, but normally this is not connected via the BCM. In most cases it has two outputs, one to the IC (Instrument Cluster), one to the PCM (aka ECU). And it would have a P Code.

Maybe the Mondy is different, and it does go to the BCM, anyone got the wiring details?

Are there any symptoms linked with this code?

I have not seen a reliable definition of it yet. (I assume it is a code from a diagnostic system, not one read from the dashboard in the car using a test mode. These internal codes have to be read differently.)

Yer a friend of mine got a good scan tools let's him look into everything and adjust if needs and this code was coming up as current mmm I am just in the middle of checking all the earths to make sure there is not a dirty one any were but this has got me lost a little as it started out as this code and just thourt poo needs a new throttle pedal so goes out and done that and still nothing he come plugged it back in yesterday and it's still giving me this code with no goto A to fix B if you no what I mean checked all the harness by the front sub frame and that's all fine 

Anybody else out there come across this code ??
