Fitting Focus ST mini cluster to a 2.0Tdci

Featured Replies

Hi there, has anyone else had a go at fitting the mini cluster from the Focus ST into a 2.0Tdci?

I've fitted the gauges fine and wired them all in as per the electrical schematics.

I figured since the Tdci has a boost sensor, oil pressure sensor that they would work ok, I know that it doesn't have the oil temperature sensor so guessed that wouldn't work.

Anyway after all the faffing, the gauges light up, they move to zero when you turn the ignition on! So far so good, however only the oil pressure gauge works! The boost shows nothing as does the oil temp(which I figured anyway).

The boost one has me puzzled because obviously the car has a boost sensor, and using the obd adapter with the various apps available you can see the boost pressure that way.

So my real question is... Has anyone else attempted this successfully before?

Have I done it right but the gauge is knackered?

Is it just not possible??

Any help would be appreciated!!

Cheers, Pete
