Found this connector behind a blank, what's it for? Mk2 focus

Featured Replies

Hi,

I recently got my first focus and which is a 2007 mk2 model and having issues with the radio and only getting 1 local station. I can't even get radio 1, I never had a problem with signal on my old car. Also loose signal completely when I plug something into the cigarette lighter. Any ideas?

My car doesn't have a aux so I decided to add one and removed the cap to under the radio and found this red adapter, does anyone know what this adapter is for?

It's for a passenger airbag deactivation notification light if you had the switch in the top left corner of your glovebox.

Ok thanks a lot. I will put the cover back over it.

Any ideas on my cigarette lighter and radio signal?
