Ford KA - Wing replacement advice

Featured Replies

I was involved in a car incident the other day and my N/S wing has been damaged. I'd rather replace the wing than have someone filler it up as my 'baby' deserves better!

My question, how is the wing attached? I'd be looking at changing this myself and just get someone decent to spray it if needed.

Thank you :)

As far as I know the front bumper, light and wheel arch liner all need to be removed. There are several bolts to remove and there is a seal between the wing and the engine bay. You will need a heat gun to soften the seal and then a sharp thin knife/scalpel to break it. There may or may not be some spot welding but I doubt it. If you have a local breakers yard they may be able to help you for a few pence?

Which version of the Ka are we talking about here?
