Binman3 Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Hi got ford transit mk6 2.4 2001 replaced with new all injectors radiator intercooler van not start when got hot ,, But have traced it down to fuel filter gets it to 60 deg after drive will start if cool to 40 deg way is guilty filter getting so hot , o and bonnet open and van at stand still , Paul Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is powered all the time the engine is on. If the stat is faulty it could be overheating. It might need a new filter housing if the heater is not available as a spare.
