Intermittant morning non start

Hi All.
We have a diesel Kuga mk1 with 38k on the clock and since july 2016 we have experienced an intermittant morning non start...
The engine cranks but it does not fire..
Some mornings its ok and some it can take as little as 4 attempts or as many as 15...
We do have the following error code....
MODULE: IC u:1900-20
Diagnostic trouble code details can communication bus fault recieve error.

Two weeks ago we had the IC looked at and the guy resoldered some point and some wiring..
He also said the connector was loose but he sorted that aswell..
All was ok for 12 days and suddenly it did its usual non start now this ss happend twice in less than a week now...
Once the kuga is running its a great drive and starts everytime during the day..

We have had a mech on several occaisions check everything and all is ok except on the last service he had to remove the passenger fuse box to replace the pollen filter and found that the multiplugs where not sat in and clipped down at all so that was sorted and the wiring loom had been moved from where it is clipped in to the holder..
During the period that the Kuga first started it non morning starts we have had the Electronuc throttle valve replaced and thought that wouls cure the issue but after a few days it was back to the non start again.
Like i said we have the error code as above...

So we are thinking that the IC is faulty and may require replacing which is expensive....

As anybody had the same problem !
If so how did you manage to fix it or do know of somebody who as the same issue and it as been fixed.....
