Water leaking into engine.

Featured Replies

Hi . I just brought a 2011 focus titanium. First time it rained I noticed steam coming out of the bonnet. Water is leaking in and dripping onto the hot manifold and onto the two sensors that are there. . I have taken it back to arnold Clark. They have "inspected" it and told me it's the way ford designed the car.

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

Where exactly is it leaking through?          cannot tell from the video              if its through the windscreen washers blocks you can put some  sealer  there.

May be related to the washer jets, they sometimes don't seal correctly, a touch of silicone on the underside may help, or cleaning the rubber between jet and bonnet. Check also that the pipes are fitting correctly.
