Focus Ghia Trip Computer/ Boot release switch

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I've recently bought a Focus Ghia in fairly good nick.

I've noticed that on the left hand side of the dash there is a trip computer but it doesn't appear to work and on the right there is what appears to be a boot release switch?

Looking in the user manual I can see that there should be an 'info' switch on the end of the indicator stalk but there isn't on mine.

Im wondering if someone has removed the instrument cluster in the past and not reconnected everything or the indicator stalk has been changed?

Do all Mk1 Ghias have the trip computer as standard? I'm sure I've seen a little storage area in the same place on other Focus?

Ideas?

Cheers,

Milly

Likelyhood is that someone started to retrofit a trip computer and gave up half way.

So the trip computer isn't standard on a Ghia?
