Water gathering into top strut mount

Hello, I'm new to this forum and got a fusion no long ago, recently I notice that water gathering into driver side top strut mount, It looks not good. Is there any way that could stop water gathering into? Thanks.

I have the same problem it seems design fault... maybe some custom made cap?!

Somewhere in the forum another member came up with a fix on a fiesta. Have a browse around the fiesta Section 👍

Yep me too,im gonna dry the cavity out thoroughly,pack it with grease then  find a plastic cap/lid to place over the top.

Dry it out, fill the cavity with oil, fit a 99p 32mm blanking grommet.

look carefully and youl'l see a small drain hole towards the the back just clear it with a piece of wire

  • 5 months later...

Yes look around the top of the strut and you will see a small drain slot clear it with a piece of wire etc.
