Went on the local Ford dealer's website and found a vehicle I might be interested in.  After visiting another site, I returned to the Ford dealer to have another look, only to discover it was now £500 dearer!  The airline industry does this, but it's the first time encountered on a car site.  Visit several times and it will quickly become unaffordable at that rate.

    They've probably just artificially inflated the price so they can knock it down in a couple of weeks and stick a big '£500 off' sticker in the window...

    Ridiculous...it should be the other way round...£500 cheaper to lure you in..your right about the airlines tho, repeated checks on certain flight times put the price up cos they think there's demand.
