I just bought a new Ford Fiesta 1.0 eco boost

ive filled it up with Asda petrol as I knew no different full tank tells me 266 miles

surely this isn't right ?

    it will take a while to figure out your driving style and econnomy. then next fill up will show more accurate figure. its only an estimate.

    It was always fun on my old Beemer (a previous car from a previous life) when the miles remaining function used to rise as I was driving along the road as I drove along...

    As Ian says however, it's all based on your driving style over X number of miles to provide an estimate.

     

    Plus you are never going to reach the quoted MPG in any car, even if you drive like a granny.
