The reason is, my start/stop stopped working maybe 1-2 months ago, i didn't bother looking into it purely because i couldn't be bothered. well yesterday i was parked up out side me missus house waiting for her to come out, the car shut of, my face was a picture of flustered and confused, i then looked at the dash to see the little green 'A'. it looks like if you leave a problem long enough it will fix its self.

(i think it was the problems with the battery that fixed it haha)

    Ha I had the same problem it worked once a blue moon turns out I just needed to reset the battery module
