clonking noise around rear wheel

Got a clonky knocking noise over the rear drivers side wheel area,dont know if its the bearing or something in the suspension set up,determined to get this Fusion running right.

if you jack it up and spin the wheel and grab hold of it at 6 oclock and 12 o clock position and try rocking it (with brake off) you should be able to tell if bearing has play or roughness.

Make sure car is securely chocked when jacked up with brake off. and make sure there is also something else supporting it - not just jack, so it does not crush your fingers between road and tyre
