My engine has started just runing on even though ignition is turned off,only way to stop it revving its guts out is to stall it.

Don't start or run it ,it sounds like it's feeding off the oil in sump , go on tube type diesel run always . It could be time for engine swap . 

Haha just looked at date ,ok it's late nite . 

not that long ago tbf, better than what some do with posts from 2011-2012 haha, also sounds like it could just be the fan, mine stays on for couple minuets some times after cars been turned of. 

When he said engine runs on and has a kkda engine they prone when badly worn they  tend to run on feeding off the oil mine did it at 200, thousand miles so I swapped to a 54000 mile one , I need to check dates before I comment tho hahahaha , Happy new year
