Key and fob issues

Featured Replies

Hello lads/lasses.

Parked my car up last night. This morning I attempted to go to work but couldn't get into my car.

Fob won't work, key won't open driver door and the same for my spare set. Totally locked out.

Small red light flashing on my dash which I believe is my alarm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The physical blade will not turn the lock in the drivers door? The little red light is the immobiliser active light (basically flashes when the key is not present in the ignition). Will the key open the bonnet lock?

Yes. The blade turns in the lock but didn't open any of the doors.

It opens bonnet though..??

You may need to turn it twice in one direction to un deadbolt the (drivers door). This should work even if the battery is flat (key, or car).

Have you tried a new key battery, and tested your car battery?
