My 2017 Ford Focus is already juddering!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am very concerned about our 2017 Ford Focus. My fiancee got an oil change two or three weeks ago, and less than 700 miles later, the oil change alert comes on when starting and the car's engine seems to be juddering when accelerating or driving uphill. We have only had this car for six months! What could possibly be wrong? Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks,

Laura.

The oil light is a reminder not a fault warning.

As to the juddering - it's worth talking to your local dealership, the car may need a software update.
At the least, a fault code scan may be in order.
