Car hit while parked and no fault of mine, will it get repairs or rite off, the car was damaged on other side by hitting the wall and cause kind in the quarter panel and smashed light, from the pic you can see drivers side damage. the back wheel in the pic has been pushed right up against the wheel arch near passenger door

Yep, write off.  

I reckon they'll cut their losses and write it off.  They smacked it good and hard to knock it sideways like that.  Lucky a pedestrian wasn't killed.

I've seen worse repaired at the Trustford body shop.

Few factors play a part in it.
if the chasis is twisted they normally write off.
Quarter panels, lights, bumpers, suspension, wheels and so on these days are all easily available and could be at the shop within a day or a week tops, depending on how many of the same vehicle in the country are damaged waiting repair.

Personally I'd want it wrote off if it's more than cosmetic and involves anything to do with the suspension, wheels etc... never feels the same again.
