Side lights not working now

Featured Replies

Hi

New to the Club. Reason for question is i have had my 2016 mondeo (1.5 econetic) for over a year.  Front Side lights were working now they dont. Took it to the dealers and to cut a long story short they say that my model doesnt use side lights. The daytime running lights that are on the lower part of the bumper (not in the headlight consol)  they say act as both. When i used to switch my lights on to side lights the DRLs used to Dim and my side lights (in the consol) used to come on. But Ford insist that my model uses just the DRLs for both. Very confused as i started to wonder if i was wrong. All other lights work as normal no problem.  Seeing all other mondeos on the road appear to have side lights.

Any help would be much appriciated.
