Engine Light come on with DTC 160787 and C14000

Featured Replies

Hi,

Was wondering if anybody had come across the following problem with an SMAX 1.8 TDCI..  The engine light came out, not flashing..  Managed to find the Dashboard Test Codes (DTC), by:

  1. Turning the engine off, wait for 1 minute.
  2. Hold the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel.
  3. Put the key in and turn to position II, whilst still holding the OK button.
  4. Wait for the test mode appear.
  5. Then using the Up/Down Arrows, until I saw the DTC01/DTC02.

Mine had the following errors:

  • 160787
    • ??
  • C14000
    • Traction control value right front circuit failure

Was wondering if anybody knows what 160787 is and if it something serious ?

Thanks in advance
