Hi all, just recently the tailgate has been opening by itself while driving. Anyone else had or have this problem. Cheers.

Hi, its a 2010 Fiesta bud with the micro switch under the chrome trim.

I was going to say it's probably a fiesta2008-2013 age. Lol

lol ok, so it's the actual boot latch with the switch in that's nakerd.

sorry, the micro switch release thats faulty?

Yes, Normally it's the switch in the trim . I've replaced quite a few over the years. Also it's cheaper to start with that if your unsure of where the fault is.
