Weird squeaking noise over speedbumps

Featured Replies

Wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this / knows what the problem is. Car is 2 years old with 13.5k miles, this also happened last year during winter time. When i go over speed bumps a horrible noise like a bed spring seems to come from the wheels. I thought it may be to do with the cold but even when ive been in my car for 30/40 mins it still does it.

Any ideas?

Wow, I drove my wife’s 14 plate fiesta yesterday and noticed the exact same thing. I’m going to keep an eye on this thread.

Sounds like warn axle bushes. My 2009 fiesta with 39k also does it.

Is it not just the shocks maxing out?

I went a long drive yesterday around 100 mile round trip and when i was coming home going over the usual speed bumps in my area it didnt make and noises. But this morning it did again, very odd
