Front and Rear Parking Sensor Fault?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I purchased a Ford Fiesta 2010 Econetic 1.6 about a month ago - not realising it had parking sensors until a few days after purchase!

I am happy that I have them.. but they don't seem to work (from what I have read in the manual).

The issue is that when I put the car in reverse, it beeps for around 5 seconds and is then followed by four little beeps.

I also have no idea how the front sensors work? Do they come on when at a slow speed?

The parking assist light under the climate control is just flashing all the time, whether in reverse or not. Also, pressing the button doesn't seem to do anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Callum.
