Engine issues

Featured Replies

Hi all I need some help please my mk4 estate has been running fine until my drive to work tonight when the engine light came on and it started being lumpy has anyone got any idea what it could be ????

you need to put a code reader on the OBD port. It is normally cheaper to buy one than to pay a garage to do it.

AA etc can do it, like if you were away from home and said it's not running right and were worried about driving it.

As above, the light could be on for a thousand reasons.

You really need to read the codes off it to get a starting point.

Knowing what engine is in the Op's car would also be useful! :wallbash:
