Hello.

I own a 2011 61 plate standard Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Titanium. Manual

and I do not use cheap supermarket diesel.

I have an issue and was wondering if anyone can help.

Most of the time my car runs perfectly, however occasionally (especially when sat on an upward incline and The car is in the 1st gear, whilst riding the clutch, the Rev counter starts to keep jumping, you can hear the engine “popping”.

it either clears if I rev the car to around 4 thousand revs for a good 2 minutes, or once the car has been switched off.

a few conversations have mentioned DPF filter, and even “Terraclean” has been mentioned.

could some one who has had the same issue please help
