gem unit/fuse box

for those of you who have had trouble with mk2 focus wipers,lights,indicators etc

and have tied the usual

check for voltage at the appropriate fuse

ie wiper fuse

in my case the wife's car the wipers went short circuit and tookeep out the gem box

so a replacement was found on Internet auction site

close match and layout all but a few months

disconect  battery unplug

connectors

swap gem box over

reconect all the plugs onto the replacement unit

and reconect battery

the only thing you'll need to do is reprogram central locking

by positing 1 and 2 on ignition switch

4 times in 6 seconds and wait for dash to beep

then press any remote bottom

and you're sorted9

hope this helps

will save you 100w of pounds
