Both 12v outlets blew at same time

Featured Replies

I have a MK4 Mondeo. It recently went in for a new starter motor and when I got it back both the 12v outlets have stopped working.

I was under the impression that these were on separate fuses, so I am confused how they have both gone at the same time. The fuse in the front fuse box seems in tact although I will try replacing this, but does anyone know if they are fused separately, or if there is anything else likely to be causing the issue

Unfortunately they both on same fuse. Once you blow it the both sockets are dead. I had even better problem where the wire to the front lighter socked cracked inside and i had to bridge it.
