Irritating rattle

Featured Replies

I’m going out of my mind with a rattle that had plagued me since I got my car, just over a month ago.

There’s a little rattle/vibration coming from the passenger dash side. I thought it was the heater vent but sometimes it sounds like it’s the glovey. I open the glovey and the rattle seems to fade a fair bit then returns when I close it. But the rattle fades when I touch the heater vent.

I’ve shone a torch and inspected the vent and glovey to no avail.

Anyone had this particular  rattle or noise or have any idea what it could be.

I could just take it back to the dealership and have them check it out but if it’s a quick fix then all the better.
