    The usual sort of noise that you refer to in your original post would certainly be noticeable at idle in neutral. I used to say (only partly in jest) that my 1.0 sounded like a bag of spanners with the bonnet open. Wonder why, if this is so noticeable when driving, it wasn't apparent during a test drive. Or didn't you get one? I think I would be inclined to raise my concerns with the seller.     Hi There, I have been noticing a slight misfire/backfire over the last few days with the EML light coming on, it stores an P2303-E1: ignition coil b primary control circuit low voltage. I have replaced all 4 spark plugs, ht leads and the coil pack but it seems to have made no difference. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you Josh

    2007 1.8 tdci. Car went into limp mode today and I think I could hear some low hissing. After engine off for a bit it went back out of engine system failure, but when I popped the bonnet I noticed the pictured small hose has failed. Looks like it goes into the EGR? Would appreciate confirmation if that’s what’s gone, and whether it’s an easy part to source and swap myself? Cheers!

    I had this a few weeks ago, used a wire bridge to join the 2 cables, left it plugged in, not had any alarm alerts for weeks now

    Not sure on that one. Must be front right corner from the diagram. Checked a few engines for sale on eBay but that pipe is always missing on there.

    Got a weird clonking sound when I first accelerate. Most noticeable from 2nd to 3rd to 4th but not down the gearbox. Its sounds like it's on the driver side front. Wheel area I have whipped the wheel off to see what it could be, nothing lose that I can detect before I start stripping it down everything is good and tight, no play in the brakes, good level of wear left on the discs and pads, sliders are all secure and not moving (Like the ones on my mervia are) Apart from the drive shaft. If I grab it and push/pull towards and from the gear box there is a click sound at the wheel end. The car has recently has a bearing on the wheel, and some fool has put the inner driveshaft gator on with a ***** zip tie..... The noise is also there if I manually twist the drive shaft I'm suspecting this is the fault, or maybe the inner steering arm. Is on a Focus 2.5 1.6s (Av11 NJJ) What are your thoughts, and where should I get a replacement driveshaft from if it is that. If I do the driveshaft I will likely swap the drop links at the same time.

    Thank you Eric Bloodaxe. Yes, I think from what I have read it seems very reasonable for the money. As a side I noticed my quote had my estimated my milage at 30k. However it is just at 20k. When I revised the milage on the quote it adjusted to £156. Funny that when I booked my car in for service a few weeks ago they knew my exact milage without asking from the Ford Pass App. 😆
