Activating satnav on the non satnav SYNC 2 system is not particularly legal because of the missing license. As far as I am aware most of the references and guides about this subject have been removed from this and also other forums to prevent legal actions from Ford. This is why very little information about this subject can be found and most links for the required files are no longer valid.

No more balance shaft on the 7-Speed Powershift. It uses the same setup as the manual transmission version.

Hi Tom, Thanks, that’s super helpful. Ugh pain it’s not sold separately, don’t really wanna fork out over 100 quid for a small hose! Hopefully an epoxy fix might do the job, depends how sensitive it is I guess! Will

Hi All, My wife has a 2016 mk2 Ford Kuga 2.0 TDCi. We absolutely love the car and its now done 68,000 miles of faultless motoring. It recently sailed through its MOT with zero advisories and has had a major service. A couple of months ago, we noticed that there was a 'clunk' coming from what sounds like the front end, when the brake pedal is pressed. It only really happens when the vehicle is moving. If the car is stopped and you press the brake pedal again, you won't hear the clunk. I've had all four wheels off and re-greased the pins and around the pistons, but its not solved the issue. Now, whether its related or not, I don't know, but the ABS and TC light are permanently on. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I think the lights on the dash may be due to the wheel sensors, which I will replace.

Hi, do you know if the newer 7DTC300 dual clutch automatic transmissions on the 1.0 Focus use the balance shaft (and so the oil pump belt with tensioner) or an unbalanced pulley and flywheel like the manual ones? Thanks

Think I've found them 2122848 and 2577277. So 2122848 is the one I have, with the bad seal and the bad washer fluid connector. This one has several AM alternatives. The newer one is 2577277 with the supposed water related fixes, with no AM alternatives.

Hi All, I've had my car for over a year now and love it to bits. Recently I took all four alloy wheels off to give them a clean. Now, when I purchased my car, over a year ago, the salesperson said that the alloys have had a full refurb. So it came as a massive surprise when I removed all four and they looked like this on the inside. They are all oxidised and look like they're rusting, they are that bad. I'm going to sand them all down to see if I can get them looking better, but what can people recommend for the inner barrel of the wheel? I need a good primer and paint. Any tips and recommendations hugely appreciated and welcomed. Just to add, they are soo corroded, that I think garages would find it difficult to stick on the wheel weights (they all need re-balancing before I have the tracking done)

Hmm... Do you have the exact code? This age of Ka is actually a Fiat 500 with Ford badges. So I'm not as familiar with these as Ford petrol engines, but I don't remember ever seeing an EGR on these before. The diesel Ka does have EGR.
