    Hi there This is probably not a new subject but I am considering my Focus 1.6 TDCI to a Focus Ecoboost 1.0 as my driving profile has changed from 20kmls per year to less than 8kmls per year. I have heard al lot of horror stories about the Ecoboost engine but also head about a lot of people who is happy about the car and engine. Is there any way of checking from outside if the belt is deteriorating and is is possible to check if the suction filter is dirty or clogged without taking

    Struggle sourcing part

    Hi everyone forgive me if I'm posting this in wrong place I have a mk6 fiesta, specifically a 2004 plate fiesta LX 1.25. Mechanic said cars got a vacuum leak and that it would be a pain in the ***** trying to find the part which Ive found out it is. He said he'll fit it if I can source the part for it. Hes told me to look for a inlet manifold vacuum hose but all I'm seeing is parts for the mk7 fiestas. If anyone could find the part or atleast point me in the right direction would be ve

    Diesel v petrol

    Hi, looking for some advice? Current car is 1.6 tdci ford focus zetec econetic 2014 which I have owned for 5 years, looking to upgrade to a newer focus (between 68 plate 2018-2022) and trying to decide if I should stick to a diesel model or switch to petrol. I currently do alot of town driving and 5 minute runs on the motorway near my home few times a week so not doing alot of long drives so would be grateful for any advice and do all the newer diesel models use adblue?

    Engine light on, limp mode Troubleshooting steps

    Hi,   i have a ford fiesta from 2014  1.6 Eco diesel, and it goes in Limp mode.     Afternoon all when fitting a bluetooth module onto your radio 6000CD model, does the red wire need to be a permanent live feed or a shut off along with the ignition job?? cheers
