Engine light on, limp mode Troubleshooting steps

Featured Replies

Hi,

i have a ford fiesta from 2014  1.6 Eco diesel, and it goes in Limp mode.

I would like to have some assistance with the troubleshooting, I have reset the DTC but it comes back right away after pressing the paddle and reaching 2000RPM

Code: P0299 - Turbocharger/Supercharger 'A' Underboost Condition
Code: P132B - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control A Performance
Code: P2562 - Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor 'A' Circuit
Code: P2562 - Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor 'A' Circuit

I have created a spread sheet with the sensor data, before the reset and after, stationary and at 2000RPM.

Could someone please guide me in what to look for ?

I've managed to find the fault today.

There is a pump brown one, and from there there are 3 tubes, 1 goes to the turbo, there was a crack in the tube, I cut 2cm off and it works again after resetting the fault codes.

See the attached pictures for information, for me the pump is next to the air filter for the motor and near the oil filter aswell.

These videos helped me troubleshooting, in random order:

For me it was not the valve in this video, as mine is brown and on the left of the airfilter but it did help me look around.
